Westport Firefighters Eat for Cause

Whites of Westport was the place. The cause childrens advocacy against child abuse. Municipal agencies from all over the county came to Westport to meet the challenge. From Fire, EMS, STATE and local Police, Court Officers, and the first ever all womens Fall River EMS team. The race is a relay individuals have to eat race to eat 4 wings beating the opposing teams.

Westport Fire and Police fell short however the Westport Fire fighters made it to the second round of elimination. The event is a fund raiser to help awareness and funds. Congratulations to Acushnet Police who took the trophy home this year. A huge event with 23 teams, Live music, raffles, food, and a overall great family event. Next year is sure to be great as well.
